    Hi Adam,
I recently purchased your: “Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires” and was totally engrossed and immersed from start to finish. I must compliment you for such mastery in your writing and the valuable techniques that you share so openly and graciously with your readers e.g. in picking top funds with the lowest risks, stable returns and best P/E ratios, Beta etc. I found the Morningstar exercises particularly interesting. One question I have is if you are not a US resident are you able to buy US mutual funds? If so how is this done as most US prospectuses do not allow you to register without US credentials?
A million thanks and all the best!

    Dear Adam,
Firstly, I would like to say thanks so much for your inspiration and great contribution to our lives through all your books such as “I am gited, So are you” ‘Nurting your Winner and Genius in your Child” “Secrets of Successful Teens” “Master your Mind, Design your Destiny” I am really admired of all methods and learning to learn techniques in books about how to get high marks at school for pupils at primary, secondary, high schools and even students at universities.
I am in Vietnam, and I find the fact that students who spend over 10 years learning English, but now they can not communicate or take part international exams or they are “zero” now in English subject.
My passion is designing a special curriculum about teaching English which uses accelerated learning techniques, whole -brain learning, super memory techniques, speed reading, as well as exam tactics for high marks as mentioned in your book. I find your books also indicate some methods to memorize english vocabulary or increase the number of vocabularies every day and revision plans for the best memory.
I am considering important factors in improving our curriculum which help students learn effectively with exciting environment and also get high marks at school. Could you please help suggest me some ways or methods or important factors which should be emphazised to help our students (including students from primary, secondary and high schools) successful in learning English.
What is more, I also want to write a books on how to get high marks in English Subject at school. So could you share some experience you have when you write all your books. I want this book also a great reference books for all students as well as parents or other teachers who are interested in learning and teaching English.

Thanks so much. I should be grateful for your soon response.

I do hope to see you in the near future in Vietnam or Singapore.

    Hi Edmund

It is never too late to start. Start saving money and investing in your education first. As you keep building your knowledge, skills and strength, you will become worth more to your company and can command a higher salary. You can then eventually get a higher position in another company or even start your own business

  46. Bin Naive on December 13th, 2013

    Hello Mister.Dread!
At first, let me call you like that. Secondary, I want to say “I’m sorry” for my bad English, so I can’t explaint all my thinking in English (maybe incomplete, maybe dictation/grammar fail/wrong) but hopefully that you could understand the gist generally).

I’m from Vietnam and I’ve read your both books: Secrets Of Self-Made Millionaires & Secrets Of Building Multi-Million Businesses.
I’m very very interest & respect of you, of your all (once again, sorry for my bad English, I can’t explain anymore…). You gave me the hope and power to keep attempting in everything, in my future plan… You charged me to fully ready status, so I can see & keep walking to my future. First, let me tell you a little sad story of me.

Used to be a foregin student in Japan, yeah, my family let me & my sister to go to Japan to study, for our future, with the hope that we could earn money from part-time-job to pay for study fee, subsistence costs… and be able to finish studying – as what the brokers companies in Vietnam told every customers. But, like many others, when we arrived at Japan, we recognized every thing’s a lie: companies lie, they only want us to register their plan, to earn money from us. Life’s not like a dream, we can not earn enough money for studying. Many families even loan a lot of money for their child, but now the dream was broke.

After many torment & many nights awake, I choose to go back to Vietnam, to let my sister stay there, let my family only needs to help her. I became hopelessly: family’s debt, no reason to stay ’til I read your books.

I want to say, I was empty and you CHARGED me again, now I’m going to do something to make things better. Everything’s seems to be still so hard, but I’ll keep trying.

    Thank you, Mister Dread!

  47. Adam Khoo on December 20th, 2013

    Hi there Bin Naive,

Thank you for sharing your story. It heartens me to know that my books have given you motivation and hope. I hope that 2014 will be a better year for you and that you will strive towards your future against the odds. I want you to remember this:

When we set a goal, we have a dream.
When we start to plan, our dream becomes possible.
When we schedule it and do it, our dream becomes real.

You will succeed if you give it enough heart. All the best for your future.

  49. Adam Khoo on January 27th, 2014

Hi Sean, thanks for your message. When I was young, I was a lazy and unmotivated student addicted to television. I was expelled from primary school for my bad behaviour and almost no school wanted to take me in. However, I want you to know that we all have the potential and capacity to change for the better, and turn our life around. I made a decision to leave my past behind and started modelling the success principles of successful people. I reprogrammed all my bad habits and turned them into good ones.

My success was not by chance; it was the result of discipline and hard work. I want you to know that you too can become a success if you put your heart to it. Read my book Master Your Mind, Design Your Destiny to find out how to develop the mindset of successful people. http://www.successwithnlp.com.

    All the best to you.

  55. Anna on August 25th, 2014

    Dear Mr Khoo,

My Sociology class and I have just come across your books and new learning methods. However, we find that it works better for history or science subjects, and are not sure how your mind map method can work for long abstract passages from our sociological textbook. For example, if we are learning about Emile Durkheim’s “Social Facts”, how could this be drawn up visually when it’s so abstract? His theory says that society is a system of complex social facts, which are external to and coercive over the individual and have to be studied like an objective thing… So my question is, is it possible to translate this into a more understandable visual method? Or is your Mind Mapping not suitable for such a concept?

Many thanks Mr Khoo and I wish you all the best for your future endeavours.

    Kind regards,

    Dear Adam Khoo,

I am a 22 year old with a diploma holder. I am planning to get a degree and now I am faced with two choices, international business in SIM and Accounting and finance in SIM too.

I applied for international business as I am attracted to their compulsory 4 month overseas exchange at UK as I would like to explore how different countries business styles besides Singapore. I am interested in the change of culture and country experience. As I have a more outgoing personality I prefer talking to people and sharing thoughts and ideas. I can say is because this would be a last chance where you get to be a student and enjoy the overseas exchange. They teach standard areas of business like marketing, foundation accounting and finance knowledge.I know business management you can read it online and not waste money to go and study.

I applied for Accounting and finance is because my parent think it would be a much relevant course and It could help in the future of their existing business. The course will touch in depth on financial and accounting theories. However, I am not interested but I know it’s important knowledge in managing a business.

What I want to do is to learn how to use my parent existing business to do investment in the long term. As the returns could be higher then the business itself. Hence, I also signed up for your upcoming investment course, hoping to learn financial literacy.

Should I go for a more relevant course such as accounting finance or international business which I am more interested? It will be so great if I can get your advise by 26/02/2016 as the school is waiting for my acceptance.

    Future Student
