Congratulations to My Mum For Getting Her Book Published

This post is dedicated to my Mum Betty Khoo-Kingsley for successfully publishing her book ‘ Cancer Cured Naturally’. It is also with great pride that I am able to write the foreword to my mother’s book. It is not everyday that a son gets the chance to write an introduction to his mother’s life’s work.

Cancer Naturally Cured - Betty Khoo-Kingsley

In this book, my mum has done an amazing job in studying and modeling the success blueprints of long-term cancer survivors who defied the odds, refused to die and continued living. When you read the book, you will discover that their recoveries did not happen by chance but simply because they all shared similar patterns of thinking and took similar actions to cure themselves. She interviews six people with final stage cancers who defied doctors orders by refusing chemo and radiation therapy and instead, used the power of their mind and a healthy diet to fully cure themselves. Not only have they fully recovered from their disease but 10-25 years on, are living healthier than ever before. One of the individuals that my mum interviewed is Mr. S.C. Lim who even survived the four doctors that attended to him!

In this book, you will learn about the specific thoughts, beliefs and attitudes these cancer survivors shared that allowed them to overcome tremendous odds to live full and healthy lives. I am SURE it will be a best-seller. It is available in all major bookstores.

A MUST BUY whether you got cancer or not. Betty had actaully summarised all the alternative treatments available for CANCER. It is predicted that 1 out of 2 people may get CANCER if we continue with our current lifestyle in time to come. So it is always good to be prepared and equip ourselves with all the knowledge.

Adam, you have a wonderful MUM.

    Hi Adam,

wow.. the books seems cool! Using the mind and determination to fight the illness and even outlive doctors who attended to them.

Does the book also include prevention of getting cancer? becasue i feel prevention is definitely better then cure.

It’s amazing to notice how the mind and what you believe in can really changed and help you overcome every single obstacles that you are facing.

Thumbs up to your mom – Betty Khoo!

    Hi Adam,

Congratulations to your mom on her book “Cancer Cured Naturally”!

My profession deals with illness prevention and it will be great to read real life stories on how these people survived end-stage cancer. Really looking forward to have a copy soon.

Has Betty read the book “Cancer & Nutritional Immunology” I wanted to pass to her through you? It’s a great book on cancer prevention! Hope everyone will benefit from it.

    Love from Jacklyn

    Hi Mr Khoo

We all know what a success you have been. I’ve read I am Gifted, So Are You!, and my brother has attended one of your camps before. I’ve read in your books that you were highly motivated as a teenager, and even set up a mobile jukebox business at 15. What I’ll like to ask is, what time did you sleep during those days?

It seems like we students do not have enough time for normal schoolwork and graded projects, and to top it up, if we want to pursue any extracurricular activities (demanding ones) we’ll have to sleep at ungodly hours. My friends in the top class tell me they sleep at 1AM everyday – that is a prerequisite. Tell me, did you have at least 8 hours of sleep every night? There seems to be only so many hours in a day, and you’ve managed to ‘cram’ in so many things. By the way, I’m from a top girls’ school, so I guess the pressure is higher. What then, do you suggest, is the ideal way of spending one’s time?

Would you rather a highly crammed and effectively managed schedule, or a relaxed one with enough time to sleep – but not enough time to achieve your goals? Wouldn’t sleeping very little affect your health negatively? I am rather confused – health over goals? This is assuming there is not enough time to complete all the tasks you want in order to reach your goals and balance your schoolwork (which by the way, is supposed to be all As).

    Thank you!

Wow, I didn’t know your Mum has learnt NLP also to model the success blueprints of long-term cancer survivors. She must be from “Whoosh 0″ I guess. :)

    Wow!

I wonder how many best selling authors will your family produce.

All the best to your mum’s book sales! :)

    Hi Adam,

Congratulations to your mum, Betty! It must be an inspiration for Betty to write a book to empower people about cancer and sharing all the success stories of how all the 6 strong cancer patients overcome the illness by their strong beliefs and will-power to fight it and gained victory over cancer. Best of all, sharing the experiences and knowledge of using natrural remedies is a science that is not know to many. It’s an achievement and and contribution back to all the people in this world. “That’s what I called ‘Wealth’ – The Power To Give!”

    Yours Sincerely

    Awesome!

I don’t think there are many of such books especially in local bookstores

I believe very much in power of human mind to create a turnaround in one’s life. Our mind is so powerful but many may not have realized it.

My life and hubby has truely been different when we realised what we can do. We now started a blog to share with people how they too can use their thoughts to attract what they want in life

Enjoy my recent post about Britain’s Got Talent.

So what is your talent? Maybe any of you readers can publish a book on that topic

    Cheers

    Dear Adam,
I am a first-time entrant to your blog. Though I have heard & read about you, i had the opportunity to attend your public talk only last saturday at Nacli. I believe in the wonderful benefits of using NLP constructively as I had the opportunity to learn about NLP during my undergraduate studies. It is something given to us but very few people have yet to discover and use this innate capability in all of us. I applaud your work to help others uncover their own capabilities to benefit themselves and then others.
I bought Mdm Betty Lau’s book and is starting to uncover its benefits. I MUST applaud her for a job well done in helping you uncover your own capability from a young age and unselfishly sharing this with the community here and in the region.
Finally, I MUST continue to share what I have learnt from the talk to benefit my husband and two lovely children!
    Warmest regards,
    Lili

    Hi Adam,

I had the pleasure of re-connecting with your Mom yesterday evening at the launch of Ong Kiem Sian’s ” A Passion for Birds”.

Betty Khoo-Kingsley and I go back a long way … she as the editor of Her World and me as the Fashion & Beauty Editor of FEMALE. I always knew that Betty would do something very special one day and she has, with her recently published book. There are some insights I am planning to share with her on my own battle with BC nine years ago.

We are planning on meeting after her Christmas trip to South India. My best wishes to you and your family.
