not sure about the J.K Rowling story, but one thing for sure, despite all the negative beliefs that she supposedly had, it did not stop her from going ahead to write and publish her books eventually. Hence, it’s about not letting the negative beliefs that you might hold limit the actions you take towards success.

I read somewhere that J.K Rowling of Harry Potter fame doubted her books would get published and as we know “doubt” is very much against the laws of attraction.

Nonetheless, she would go on to become the world’s richest author ever.

My point is, the real secret is action and perseverance and of course – education.

I wonder what happens if there’s two person having opposing thoughts towards similar situation or location and having this law of attraction taking place

‘The Secret’ is indeed one movie which opens up so many revelations. I looked back in my life and I realized that the Law Of Attraction has indeed manifested in my life on many occassions.

Pertaining to Iskandar’s comments, let me give my two cents worth of opinion. The Law of Attaction will not lead us to be less vigilant or oblivious to the dangers around us. If you were to drive and constantly think of the accidents that might happen, it would cause you to be nervous instead and hence increase the chances of accidents occuring.

Rather, if you were to flood your mind with positive images, it will build your confidence instead. That being said, when we apply the Law of Attraction, it will result in our thoughts being manifested in our life. Thinking positively will always have beneficial consequences, no matter how you look at it.

I’m Iskandar from Millennia Institute. I would like to applaud at your ability to inspire your speakers with your speeches.

You talked about the law of attraction and i was amazed at how this law can guide us in influencing our lives which ultimately determines our personal outcome.

However, in my opinion, I think that it may result in a few problems arising if we are to dwell too much upon this law.

First, when we think positively everyday, we tend to think less negatively. This may result in oblivion towards dangers around us. For instance, when we think that we’ll drive safely to work and according to this law, we’ll be, for sure, arriving safely to work. Thus, subconsiously, may reduce our alertness and incapability to react quickly. However, what if (touch wood) an irresponsible lorry driver happenned to crash with our vehicle when we were least expecting it?
Won’t this less alertness bring more harm to us?

Second, the authorities have always reminded us to be vigilant and look out for any signs of threat in public area for the safety of the nation. However, when we are vigilant, we are constantly keeping ourselves alert looking out for threats, eg. bombs. Won’t this naturally stimulate negative thoughts? And if what the law hold is true, then won’t the society in general create an air of negative atmosphere which may result in unhappy sentiments?

Thus, i’d like to know the relevance and its extent of this law in this society. What are your opinions?
