I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to this.

I absolutely enjoyed this post and have recently been visiting your site for a couple of months now. I run a internet site committed to fighting against OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and would like to list your webblog within my information area for the advantage of my own readers. There is certainly much falsehoods nowadays on the internet and whenever I happen across a very good high-quality web site similar to this I like to circulate these onto my readers - I hope this is okay with you, I have put your website link within my valued resources area (on this page; http://www.whatisocd.org/resources/). Many thanks - remember to keep up the quality work it is much appreciated.

Hi Adam,

First Apologies for writing quite late my goals for 2010. Although, how we say in Venezuela "is better later than never!!"

My goals for 2010 are:

1.- Start investing in the US stock Market and make some profit! Minimum goal (as I'm starting is 5%). My strategy is simple, I would like to start using the value investor approach to begin with! At the mean time I will practice and learn more from the momentum investing strategy.

I will put aside spare money every month, which instead of having it seating in the bank I would like to invest it. I believe this is a better option and having the knowledge from your books it should work.

2.- Commit to read at least 5 investment / business books this year. I've been in history a terrible reader but I would like to change this trend. After reading "Secrets of Millionaire Investors" I have discovered a whole new world which I would like to dedicate more of my time.

3.- Read "I'm gifted so are you". I think this book can help me to improve my reading technique. I consider it a "must have tool" for me.

4.- Finish (with my wife) to clear out the last of our credit cards.
(£2,500). This will save us an extra £200 a month

Our initial debt in credit cards was around £9,000 and after 1 year of taking a real care of our finances, we have cleared out £6,500 (without including the fact that we got married in Sept 2009 and pay for the whole of our wedding without getting into debt!!!)

5.- I commit to watch / read / follow CNBC and finances in general at least half an hour a day. Again this is like going to Uni again. The difference is that is probably more exciting!. I normally try to follow trends and news in my mobile device.

6.- Write a business plan for "La Arepera" (my restaurant project). Then study its feasibility.

7.- I'm now 33 years old and I promise my wife (and myself) that I will work very hard to achieve my first million dollar before I'm 40 years old.
I believe I'm currently doing the right steps.. Reading, committing, taking actions and learning from mistakes should lead me there.

8.- Enjoy my wife and my family every single second.

9.- Keep running during 2010 and participate in 1 half marathon.

Thanks for the opportunity!

If I don't succeed by the end of this year, I'll be dead broke.
Last January, 2009, I made my goal for 2009. To make a million before the year ended.
The year had ended, and I'd yet to make a single cent.

Now, I'm making the same declaration. I'm going to make a million this year.
"Too ambitious? Seow ah (Crazy), you? Your head ah. My foot, if you make a million."
Such responses. From friends and relatives.
A few so called close friends kept a straight face, and said nothing. In their minds, they were probably giving the same responses.

Was I discouraged?
Nope. Not once.
Thanks to Adam Khoo.

You see, last January, I had just read Adam Khoo's Master Your Mind, Design Your Destiny. Twice. (Hope this is not the ebook he'd be giving)

Before reading the book, I had made a goal of making $50,000 for 2009.
Stretch your goals!
Adam Khoo seemed to scream in that book.
Aim for the stars!
So, I boldy made that One Million Dollar Goal.

I failed. I missed my target, way off. Way, way off.
Let me rephrase that. Or rather, let me reframe that - something I've learnt from Adam Khoo.
I did not fail!
I had a year of feedbacks.
I had tried many things. I did not make any money.
But I did not fail.
I had feedbacks.

Now, in the present, 2010, armed with all these feedbacks, I am going to make my million.
How?
Frankly, I do not really know.
My passion?
I love to write. (Thus, this long mail)
And I've decided to make my million online!
"Seow ah, you! You're too late already."
Some of you are probably sniggering with these responses.

Am I discouraged again?
Nope.
Yes, I'm aware that the web is flooded now. Almost every grain of ideas have been washed away by would be internet hopefuls wanting to storm the world like Yahoo, Youtube, Facebook, and now, Twitter.
So what is left? Nothing?

Nope!
There's always something.
Adam Khoo had taught me that in his books.
For the past 16 days, I've dug and dug. And dug some more. And I've some nuggets.
Are they gold?
Maybe.
Maybe not.
So what if they're not gold?
I could still use them in other ways.
They may still turn out to be platinum. Or silicon. Or Monetinium.
Whatever they are, I'm now armed with more knowledge now, thanks to Adam Khoo's other books, like Secrets Of Building Multi-Million Dollar Businesses, Secrets of Self-Made Millionaires; and Stuart Tan's Secret of Internet Millionaires. (I hope he's not giving these ebooks either)

It's not that I'm over praising Adam Khoo too much, hoping to melt his heart, so as to win his ebook.

Nope.
It's more of a personal declaration.
Once I've announced my intention to the world, there's no turning back.
I have to succeed this year.
I have a teenage daughter to feed. I am a widower.
Life had been tough.
That was the way I had always viewed life.
But it's never too late to see that life have been good.
I had a beautiful loving wife. A happy marriage. Many successes.

I'm ready.
I'm ready, people.
I'm ready, world.
I'm going to make it this year.
2010.
The year I'm going to become a millionaire.
I'm still young.
I'll only be 50 this coming April.
Colonel Sanders made his millions in his sixties, when he founded KFC.
Look out for me, people.
I've made my declaration.
I've made my goals. Very detailed goals.
I know what I'll be doing.
My goals are very detailed, with mini goals broken into months, weeks, and every daily goals.
I will succeed.

Let's journey together for a successful 2010.
This is Cliff.
Wishing all of you a very succesful 2010 too.
There's not failures.
Only feedbacks.

I desire above all things to guide/coach people into living their lives. Its my divine calling. To understand life is much more than working for money. Money can also work for you. And having a basic paying job is not security, its just existing. One needs to think big, dream big and take massive action to achieve those goals. Make massive amounts money so you can bless people, help people. To instill the mentality, you dont help anyone by being poor. You dont help anyone by being weak. Life is for living and giving.
