It is about a father who has to take care of his son, Rick, who was born with Cerebral Palsy and was paralyzed from the neck down. Rick was also unable to speak from birth. Despite doctors telling father Dick that his son will never be able to go to school or to work, Dick never gave up on his son. I was actually inspired by a similar story when I saw a documentary when I was in Australia on holiday with my family. In that documentary, the mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer and she went on to video herself talking to her only growing up daughter every night when she is in bed so that when she is gone. Her daughter can grown up with her through those recorded tapes. When the daughter actually grown up as a adult, she told friends and relatives that she grown up with her mum by her side through the love and advices given by her mum even though her mum is not alive during her growing up years. The next generations needs hopes and inspirations from the current people just as we recieved the knowledge, advices, inspirations, etc. to push on for a brighter future. We have a bright future and Singapore. It's just a matter of choosing your destiny! Hi Adam,
